The Exchange Club of Speedway just concluded its 30th golf outing, raising funds for the prevention of child abuse. Using SMT Golf has enhanced the experience for our players for the past 4 years. The on course games have become something that the players look forward to and have added thousands of dollars to the events bottom line.

Both the silent and live auctions items have both added revenue and saved untold hours of volunteer time searching for auction items.

I was given Mike’s name by an event coordinator at a golf course.  I was thinking about putting together a charity golf event, but had never done this before and needed guidance.   Mike was very knowledgeable about the process and was very available to always answer any questions I had and/or offer advice. Prior to the event starting, Mike provided me with his scratch off golf game to sell to anyone and everyone.  The person with the lowest score won a 3 day/2 night stay at the Tropicana in Las Vegas.  Being able to sell this game prior to the actual golf event was an amazing tool to raise money.   I liked being able sell these cards to raise more money and also use it to publicize the event.  The golfers loved the SMT games that we chose to play the day of the event and many said it was one of the best events they have ever attended.  Mike also brought 10 silent auction items and 1 live auction item that everyone loved.  I would highly recommend having Mike help with your next event.

Just wanted to send you a quick thank you note for all your help on USG’s Giving Back Charity Golf Outing. This event was the most successful event in our 8 years of hosting the outing, helping us raise a record amount for three great charities – Breast Cancer Research Foundation, JDRF, and Special Olympics – Young Athletes. In addition to the money we raised, the comments and feedback I received from the golfers were overwhelmingly positive, with many pointing to the fun they had participating in the games on the course. Your staff was a great addition to our event and kept things light and fun, which is a tough thing when you have 180 golfers on the course for a 5-hour round (which, by the way, is probably the fastest round this group has had).
We are already working on next year’s date and plan to have your team on hand to help us surpass this year’s record.
